Rossella Locatell

Graduated in Economic and Banking Sciences from the Catholic University of the S. Cuore of Milan, where she was a researcher until 1998. She is Full Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries (SSD Secs/P11), at the University of Insubria of Varese -Como. She was Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Insubria and delegate of the Rector for relations with production bodies for Expo 2015. She is director of the Research Center on the Internationalization of Local Economies (CRIEL) and deputy director of the Research Center on Business Ethics and Social Responsibility established at the Department of Economics of the University of Insubria. Holder of the teachings of Banking Economics and Banking and Finance Laboratory. She has been a board member of financial intermediaries and service companies and, upon appointment by the Bank of Italy, member of the supervisory committee of financial intermediaries in extraordinary administration and in compulsory administrative liquidation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of C.A.I. spa, where he is president of the Control and Risk Committee, and President of B.F. Agricola s.r.l., member of the Board of Directors of the “Giovanni Valcavi Foundation for the University of Insubria, and member of the Board of Directors of UnipolSai spa, where he is also President of the Control and Risk Committee and member of the Supervisory Body 231. Author of numerous writings on the topics of the management of banks and insurance companies, the regulation of the financial system and intermediaries and the institutional characteristics of financial markets and systems.
